Jana Welder, FNP
Jana Welder, FNP is a native to Albuquerque; completing an undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico where she was a collegiate cheerleader for the Lobos. Jana is in a unique role of providing Primary Care to the patients at Women’s Specialist of New Mexico. With her background in multiple specialties of medicine this has allowed her to help prepare patients to determine and meet their health care and wellness goals. Jana is a true advocate for her patients and believes that education is a pivotal role in the prevention of disease and overall health of patients from all ages and demographics.

Special Interests: Away from work Jana spends time with her husband and their two children. They enjoy visiting with family and friends. The family likes to find any opportunity to travel; as well as, stay physically fit by engaging in year-round activities like hiking, golf, tumbling/gymnastics, karate and stand up paddle boarding.
