Job Title: OB/GYN Sonographer

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday

Primary Duties Include:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasounds
  • Demonstrate a high level of competence of ultrasound procedures
  • Provide quality patient care during procedure
  • Ensure good communication with providers regarding results
  • Engage in positive patient interactions
  • Work compatibly with other departments and employees of WSNM
  • Provide prompt referrals to specialists when necessary

Job Qualifications:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Physical Requirements:

  • Hearing, speaking and visual acuity;
  • Sitting, stooping or standing for long periods of time;
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.;
  • Hand/wrist movement while performing ultrasounds, writing, using computer, phone and copier

Job Title: Medical Records Clerk

Summary of Position Description:

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining patient medical records by locating, distributing, filing documents and re-filing charts.

  • Scanning all outside labs x-ray reports including documentation/correspondence in chart in a timely manner
  • Preparing and copying records for Release of Information requests, transfers referrals, and appointments
  • Preparing and keeping a log of charts sent offsite to be scanned into Electronic Medical Record
  • Preparing charts for optical scanning (archiving)
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year office work experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Hearing, speaking and visual acuity;
  • Must have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds ;
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach overhead, stand for long periods of time;
  • Hand/wrist movement to write, use computer, phone and copier
