Addison Rauch, CNP
Addison was born in Phoenix but moved to New Mexico at age 6 and loved growing up in the mountains outside of Albuquerque. While she always had the desire to see other parts of the U.S. and did so through college, upon returning home she appreciated NM even more than before and truly fell in love. Addison graduated from Hillsdale College in 2020 with a degree in Biology, also completing a four year collegiate distance running career. Her science background in undergrad combined with her love of people and dedication to caring for them prompted her returning to grad school. She graduated from Vanderbilt University as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in August of 2023. She chose women’s health as a specialty due to her love of the uniqueness of the female experience and sensing a need for female specific healthcare, not wanting women to be or feel overlooked in their healthcare. Addison’s favorite part of her day is aiding women in their healthcare decisions and providing the information for them to make the most informed choices, believing healthcare works best when patients are informed and educated. Addison is also a firm believer in setting aside her own personally held beliefs or opinions in favor of counseling patients in the most unbiased and non-judgmental way possible, as providing a safe and comfortable space for patients is most important. She puts the needs of her patients first, treating them as if they were her own family or friends. When she’s not working, she enjoys anything outdoors in our beautiful state, but her favorites are trail running, snowboarding, and mountain biking. Time with friends, family, and serving at her local church are what additionally fill her cup outside of work.
