Dr. Mayo is originally from the New Jersey Shore, but considers New Mexico to be her true home after moving to Albuquerque. She uses the pronouns she/her/hers. When not at work, you might find her hiking, birding, running, or exploring New Mexico. She and her partner continue to learn more about gardening in the Southwest, and spending quality time with their cats.
