Annette Maxedon, FNP

Annette has known since she was 8 years old that she was going to be a nurse, and has been one for more than 29 years now. She worked in Labor and Delivery (L&D) as both a Registered Nurse, and as the Nurse Manager for L&D, the Newborn Nursery, and Inpatient Pediatrics. Annette became an Advanced Practice Clinician in 2006, specializing in Family Practice. She has cared for patients of all ages, with a focus on women’s health. She actively works with her patients to improve their health as it relates to nutrition and weight loss, using multiple modalities of care to improve their body image and self-confidence. Annette is a
dedicated professional, and an important member of our provider-patient team. She serves the women of our community, and strongly believes in patient-centered care. She really gets to know her patients, honestly listens to them, and genuinely cares for their mental health andphysical well being.

Annette has been married to her husband of 42 years, who is a 20-year Air Force veteran, and a retired small business owner. They have 4 beautiful daughters and 5 amazing grandchildren. When she’s not being an amazing Nurse Practitioner, she likes to spend time with her grandkids, travel, read, bake, and play board games with her family. Her ideal vacation is cruising someplace new, relaxing by the pool with her favorite Harry Potter book, and indulging in the local culture and cuisine.
