Danielle Steiner, WHNP

Danielle Steiner, WHNP-BC grew up in Mesa, AZ where she graduated high school. She has lived in Albuquerque, NM for the past 8 years and found her home. Having gotten her bachelors of nursing degree from Northern Arizona University and working in a cardiac inpatient unit in Tucson, AZ for 2 years, her interest alway laid in women’s healthcare. She found her first passion as a labor and delivery RN for 6 years and then moved on to public school nursing to spend more time with family and discover the importance of community health. Still feeling as if something was missing, Danielle returned to school with Frontier Nursing University to obtain her masters degree in nursing as a women’s health nurse practitioner. This is where Danielle found her love of women’s health.

Danielle is passionate about all things related to women’s health: including contraception, and those suffering with menstrual bleeding and period pain, but especially found interest in assisting women through the perimenopause/menopause transition. Danielle firmly believes that women should be heard and have a strong voice in their decision-making process no matter what their concerns are. She wants to ensure women can make fully informed decisions about their health with the most evidenced based information while ensuring their own beliefs and values are paramount.

In her free time, Danielle likes to spend time with her 2 school-aged, highly active boys and her husband. She loves to hike, play board games, crochet, and read/listen to a good book. She is also a big New Mexico United fan. You can often find her at a NMU game or discovering a new restaurant or brewery as she loves everything Albuquerque has to offer, especially the food and diverse community.
