Ari Griego-Marsh, CNM
I go by “Ari” and I am passionate about midwifery and caring for people. I love connecting with patients and supporting them on their unique journey. My best days at work are when I can walk away knowing that I truly helped someone; whether that is by diagnosing PCOS and helping them to understand what their body is doing, guiding them through labor and birth, hearing their baby for the first time, supporting them through perinatal depression, or helping to find the right birth control for their body and lifestyle. I want my patients to always leave our visits feeling seen and heard.
My journey to Midwifery began at 6 when I found out where babies come from, I was fascinated, and the idea of being there to help in that process drew me in! Over the years through my own experiences of women’s healthcare I learned the importance of being heard by our medical providers and how that trust and understanding effects our care.
I am native to the southwest, born in Grants NM. I was raised in the East Valley of Phoenix-Metro during the school year and lived with my grandparents during the summers in Tinaja, NM. Living back and forth between urban and very rural settings helped me understand the diverse communities and resources of patients in New Mexico. I am a Lobo through and through, graduating from UNM with my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2007 and my Masters in Nurse Midwifery in 2010. I practiced in Las Cruces for my first two years as a Midwife before moving to Oregon where I practiced for ten years. We moved back to Albuquerque in 2024 to raise our family.
Outside of work, my husband and I are busy raising two littles. I love good food and travel! Taking my family to new places and seeing the joy on their faces as they see a new culture and try something tasty for the first time fills my heart!
I look forward to caring for you on your journey.
